Dined at Salt for a few times during our 6 days’ stay in Portland Marina. Excellent food and service. My husband was particularly happy about his Vegetarian Sunday Roast.

It was my first time at Salt and I am pleased to say it won't be the last. The food was truly delicious and copious. We had a selection of small plates and they were ample. I particularly recommend the duck leg croquettes, full of duck meat and very tasty. We had a chicken and bacon club sandwich to share, spicy squids and marinated garlic prawns on focacia. Everything was delicious. Well done chef don't change a thing. The service was excellent and we got given 30% off vouchers for future meals in January.

We held my mum’s wake at Salt. I am thrilled with how the day panned out. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient. The food was lovely and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Lovely evening and meal with Charlotte as our waitress, who had a wealth of knowledge about the menu and locally sourced foods as well as being very welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our Muscles and Halibut as well as the crispy potatoes with curried aioli side dish. Value for money is great when you consider the location, view and hospitality. Overall, I highly recommend for dinner and drinks. Especially in the summer.

We only called in for a drink. We sat on the terrace overlooking the marina. Dogs allowed on the terrace not sure about inside but terrace has covered areas. The pilsner lager was spot on. The coffee was great too. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere sat having our drinks looking out over the marina.

The staff were amazing and the food was delicious! Our server Kiah went above and beyond to make our anniversary amazing! Highly recommend such a hidden gem!!

Wonderful atmosphere and attentive staff. We came without reservation however we were served very quickly by Jasmine. She answered all the questions we had and made our dinner perfect. Life music at the end was a great touch.
